June 6, 2011: The 2011 BRDT season gets off to a great start tomorrow with the opening of Radio Gals. You will be able to see yours truly in this musical about a group of feisty women operating a radio station in rural Arkansas set in the 1920s. The show runs June 7th-18th. May 15, 2011: Today we finish a very successful run of There's a Boy in the Girl's Bathroom at the AAC Children's Theatre. Tomorrow I begin work as the Assistant Company Manager at the Blue Ridge Dinner Theatre in beautiful SW Virginia. The BRDT season this year includes Radio Gals, Smoke on the Mountain, Gabriel's Honky Tonk Angels (and original, classic country review by Rex Stephenson and Emily Rose Tucker), Showtime at First Baptist and Heidi. We will also be taking the Jack Tales tour to various school and community locations throughout the area. May 2, 2011: We successfully opened There's a Boy in the Girl's Bathroom this past weekend. We will be running for the next two weeks. School matinees run Tuesday-Friday at 10 am and 12 pm. And public performances take place Friday at 7 pm, Saturday at 3 pm and Sunday at 2 pm. Come support the arts in this final production of our 2010-2011 season.
March 21, 2011: Jungle Book tour has come to an end as all things must and we are off to our next big project! The AAC Children's Theatre will be presenting There's a Boy in the Girls Bathroom April 29-May 15. You also still have time to see If You Give A Pig A Pancake at the Arts Center through March 27th if you have not already.
February 12, 2011: Hello all! I am currently working at the Arkansas Arts Center Children's Theatre until mid May. Right now I am touring with the Children's Theatre's production of Jungle Book. Look for us at local schools, libraries and other community venues throughout the state of Arkansas through the middle of March. The AAC Children's Theatre will also be staging a production of If You Give A Pig A Pancake from March 11-27, 2011. Our final production of the season will be There's a Boy in the Girls Bathroom which will run April 29-May 15.
